Hosea 7:15-16

New American Standard Bible

¹⁵ Although I trained and strengthened their arms,
Yet they ^(A)devise evil against Me.
¹⁶ They turn, but not ^[a]upward,
They are like a ^(B)loose bow;
Their officials will fall by the sword
Because of the ^[b](C)insolence of their tongue.
This will be their ^(D)derision in the land of Egypt.
